Quick slots improvement

Problem:

When leaving a map from the south, I normally have to hide quick slots, then reactivate them. I've noticed comments on how now it takes more button presses now, people aren't liking it.

Solution:

when moving down the map, have the edge of the map move up the screen more (like in buildings), above the quickslot buttons.

Example:

--Hard to leave-- --Easy to leave--

Good suggestion, the second picture (labled easy) makes me think that the spaces inbetween maps is filled with a large abyss (wonder if that's where Nyktos lives? ) .

i was going to try and throw something together after it being brought up in the meeting...
thinking along the lines of posting a poll, to feel out what ideas are popular.

when it came up in the meeting they were talking about "too many presses" to open & close...
then i said the exact same thing about exiting past the slots at the bottom.

great post! [minds think alike?]

good stuff!

I'm not really local to MO, but I have have lived here for a bit...
Saint Louis is an amazing place, a great music scene and more than a few historical sites.
and Kansas City has one of the best sculpture collections in the US...
so as far as the Midwest goes -> it's all here! [sorry Chicago & Detroit]

Give me an axe and some logs and I'll light the place up. Give it a nice warm fuzzy feeling.

[3] would open the quickslots still, right? If so then I wouldn't mind.

I know the lagging problem (v0.6.10) has been solved, but I still use only one quick slot: the buttons on my tiny phone are so very small that if I use more quick slots, I may cure myself from fatigue when I really need bonemeal

So I wouldn't mind if there was only 1.
Also I wouldn't mind if the number shown would be rounded down when above thousand, i mean like "2k" when there are 2853 bonemeals in my quick slot
