Friends and Foes

I am working on a quest where you can help or betray someone. My idea is to have that character return every now and then for further quests. This led my to a new idea: I think this game lacks something like mentors and antagonists. Until now, most of the characters are only featured in few quests. Once your done with a village, you go on to the next. If someone is an enemy, you kill them quite fast.
I know that we are only at the beginning of the story and neither Feygard nor Nor City are on the map yet, but I think it is time to meet some characters that will return again and again (or maybe reuse some of the established characters). Unzel/Vacor or Mazeg were a good start to connect some points inside the game. I hate to meet endless numbers of characters in a game, because I am not good with names. Plus it makes characters and the world much richer if you engage them in several different quests and show more aspects of a person.
