Before I came to the forums, I was unaware of the existence of grinding items or legendary items. I was just thinking that all the other guys who aren't on the forums won't know what the legendary items are either. There should be an NPC or something at each site of the grind telling you about them, or who'd know about the ROLS, ROL, ElyR, stuff like that?

+1 Good idea, How about some mysterious NPC *psst. are you intrested some really rare items.... I tell you more, If you do this small favor...*

I was thinking along the lines of a bard or storyteller, but a quest for information sounds good too.

This Npc could also be a known merchant or wizard who can tell you everything about these rare items.
At the end, he says: If you want to know anything more about the legendary/extraordinary items, please use this link to view the forums at our modern AT Internet. I don't hunt anymore, I just order my meat via the Internet.

Guess I need to get to work on that here shortly although I'm a bit pressed for time atm while trying to find a new place to live and looking for a new job.

Love the idea of books, but think also of the torn journal pages in the hut on road to BWM. Hope this is further imped when new L/E items will come available next release.

+1 +1 +1 so many +1s... there are probably thousands of players out there who have no idea these weapons even exist.

Adding some sort of rumors and tales of powerful and long lost weapons would at least let players know they are there.

Actually, I'd like to ask a question again: How did you guys find out about the legendary items in the first place? I found out when I came here, but who posted the info about legendary items first?
