I'm not understanding you. I see it as a nice way to talk\get in touch with other members of the forum without having to go through the slowness of PM's or trying to spark up a new thread. I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about this "real info" that you speak of. They aren't deciding\making any drastic changes on there. Heck, at most I've only seen 6 people on there at a time. It's just for fun.
My bad then. I assumed they would be discussing the pros and cons in specific areas of the game's development in real time. If that were true then the dev team would be losing valuable input from valuable way back members who could not be online at that specific time.
If that's not the purpose then go for it, the poll's wording was just misleading.

Agreed with the wording of the poll. If it was intended that it was to be used for discussing information like that, I wasn't aware. I wouldn't have wanted that either, so I see where you're coming from. No harm done.

Ummm, those are server commands, and mostly useless except ping and pong... For account registration, type "/msg nickserv register p@$$word email@address"
