Hi everybody, I would like to know do you think about this skills and which one may be more effective in gameplay? Thanks!

I think they're best when used together. But as for which to choose first, it depends on how patient you are.

If you like to always be on the attack, I would go with Corpse Eater because you can attack weaker creatures, like the small snakes or small rabid dogs, and restore HP while also getting meat drops to sell.

If you don't mind sitting still, then regeneration is good because you can find an isolated spot to hide in and heal up. Its also useful for when you're just walking around in the towns or any other non-hostile area. Plus, Increased Fortitude, which is a prerequisite for Regeneration is a good first skill (have to wait til you hit level 5 though).

Personally, in any new build, I use my first 3 skill points on Increased Fortitude, Regeneration, and then Corpse Eater, in that order. Make sure to use level ups to get your HP to the minimum requirement for IF or CE when you get the skill point too.

My preference:

Corpse Eater > Regeneration

Because: When i am grinding i do not pause for long enough for the regeneration to take effect. Plus with the ability to one hit the NPCs my health rarely goes down enough to use the regeneration

Buuuut: Early on in the game regeneration is better than Corpse eater, because it allows the players to not have to use as many potions which means they can build up gold faster for better equipment.

Really, I use both. but that is why i am practically untouchable.

keep in mind, Regeneration will take effect every round in battle in v0.6.12...
making it far superior to Corpse Eater (hence my suggestion in the last meeting to boost CE by the update)

An update to CE would be needed if they upgrade Regeneration.

That's a pretty nice boost to Regeneration then! Maybe for Corpse Eater, make it somewhat similar to the ROL and give a 50% chance of +1 HP restore per hit in addition to the guaranteed restore on kill. Call it the "Corpse snacking" effect

Between People Potions and Corpse Eater, i think we would make Hannible proud. (Silence of the Lambs)

It puts the lotion on it's skin...

Hey, we could always make a rare drop of human skin when killing an NPC, bandit, etc.. Then, when you get enough of them someone will make armor out of it for you.

*shudder* Now that would be terrifying...

Human Skin Breastplate:
AC: +25%
BC: +5%
DR: -1 (human skin is no match for pointy blades/claws/fangs/etc)
Special Effect: Every turn you have a ##% chance of inflicting:
Invoke Terror: -4AP to effected NPC
Movement Cost: +2 (the monsters are attracted to the smell)

(stats are just for an made up example)
