1 - There is no way to delete saved games.
There are options for loading them, and saving to new slots, but nothing for deleting saves with e.g. characters that you have abandoned
2 - The characters in the foaming flask tavern still have conversation options for asking about Rincel even after I have completed the 'find Rincel' quest.

#1 is not a bug, its a defect
. The difference being that a defect is some feature that is missing and may or may not be a requirement.
You can use a file management app to delete files.

Or instead if making new save slots save over them.

yeah, thats pretty much all i ever do, but...
i get a little weird if i have more than 4 slots!
ES File Explorer is what i use to clean up my saves,
and it makes it easy to email myself save files for back up.

Good tip thanks. Bard found this one program cant recall it right now on my phone it under questions playing on pc, but i can move files to my computer and play em when at home while doin other stuff its awesome.

Hi,
I posted both of these bugs/improvements some time ago when 0.6.10 came out but they still exist in 0.6.11
1 - There is no way to delete saved games. There are options for loading them, and saving to new slots, but nothing for deleting saves with e.g. characters that you have abandoned. Please add an option to deleted saved games while in-game rather than having to use a 3rd application

I've posted before about your first issue aswell, hopefully a delete saves option will be added.
Hadn't noticed your other issue, maybe someone can sort that out aswelll.

here is one way:
