A Report On Andor's Trail Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
by Dr. DarkSavant13
In recent years, it has been found that many suffer from Andor's Trail Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a mental disease that the scientific and medical communities are currently baffled by. They have found the disease to be highly contagious. It is most certainly linked to the playing of Andor's Trail, a roguelike roleplaying game (RPG) for the Android phone OS, and begins by an individual searching for something called a RoLS (pronounced "rolls"). During the search for that mythical item the disease takes hold and the infected are compelled to search for more and more of these mythical items.
What baffles the scientific and medical communities even further, is that even though searching for the RoLS is the most common way to acquire ATOCD, it seems that there have also been cases of the mental disease that are variable in their method of infection and intensity. Some must create new "heroes" over and over again in a quest to experience new ways to "build" those "heroes". Others spend all their time on Andor's Trail or on the Andor's Trail Forums, a way for those with ATOCD to communicate with other infected.
The infected even have their own "support group", calling itself Andor's Trail Anonymous, but the support group only seems to make the disease progress.
At this time there is no cure for Andor's Trail Obsessive Compulsive Disease, and treatment has been unaffective. Considering that some of those with ATOCD help to add to Andor's Trail, and Andor's Trail has no end in site, the disease could continue infecting homosapiens indefinitely.
