I have an idea for an ambush: if you enter a new map, you are immediately surrounded by enemies. You can't move to any other tile, therefore you can't leave the map.

Somehow like this:

XX
XO
XX


X -> enemy
O -> hero

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide!

Hey, that'd work really goods as a trap, too... Camouflaged map change tile that sends you to a map like this:

(---)
(XXX)
=XOX)
(XXX)
(---)

and the door takes you back to the beginning of the maze... That'd drive ppl crazy, and make the maze really difficult :twisted:

Been working on an idea like this for my quest. Been designing alot of "choke points" where the player will be forced into fighting 3 monsters at once or go back the way you came.
