Public Google Hangout - Meet the Devs!

im really trying to squeeze in some time to experiment with Hangouts a bit...
it will be a lot easier to get in touch if we are already in each others circles.

(this is directed at anyone interested in the Hangout,
or learning more about Hangouts firsthand.)

I tried at 4.. but I'm having a lil issue with /sd-ext and since my cache likes to eat up /data, there was no way for me to [re]install google+ [even though I lack the ffc, I was going to attempt getting in via msging service somehow]. Another day late and dollar short I suppose.

We had some issues with the first meeting but it has proved a great learning experience.

We are working on a better solution for the next time we try this.

I got tied up and did not try to get to the Hangout until it was over or just ending. when I tried to watch the video, it said it was "processing". I have not tried again, so far, but will. I did set it up with following AT, and added Oskar, Scott Devaney and a few other people to an AT circle on my page.
I got about half-way through the video of the earlier test session, which involved a lot of sitting there, before my battery fell to 20% and dropped my phone out of video mode. I did hear my name mentioned, in connection with following AT or having added the people to my circle. I'll have to try again next time.

In another thread I mentioned the new Google+ Events, that I believe would allow everyone to participate in the discussion. I was told that there were plans to imbed a video and chat on a page that would also allow everyone to participate.

As long as something is done so that all of those that found out they couldn't participate last time (myself included) can participate the next time, I don't care how it's done.

Last time, it seemed to have no problem with me participating in the Hangout until the day of the Hangout. When I tried to go to it I got a message saying "your phone does not support Google+ Hangouts". Maybe I got an update, I have no idea, but it was really annoying and depressing at the same time. If it was like that for me, I can guess that it was like that for others as well, and I would prefer it if this next time it all worked out more smoothly for everyone.
