Faction Based Equipment

Here's my idea for faction based equipment. I think the equipment should be quest based, with specific quests given by those individuals that only talk to you if you have completed a faction, Shadow or Light, based quest.
I think that the equipment should be named for the faction it comes from; ie. Shadow's Scimitar of Darkness, Shadow's Mail of Illusions, etc.. While I can't bring the Goddess of Light to mind right now, the evil wench, I feel the equipment of Light should be named for her.
The equipment should be of extrordinary to legendary quality, with magical enhancements on each, but with extensive, difficult, and costly quests. I also feel that you should also make the quests start only at higher levels, if possible. It should be the type of armor you would like to own at level 100, a sort of collectors set.
I would list sets of equipment myself, but seeing as I am only lvl 15, lol, I'll leave that up to those of much more experience than myself.: P

This raises the question if or how the game tracks your player's "attitude". I was asking myself if the game only tracks your behaviour within a certain quest or if it tracks a value that is persistent and in effect when you encounter a new person / enemy / critter.
Obviously the world changes with the decision you make.
How many factions are there? Shadow, Kazaul, Iqhans, Feygard?
PS: Haven't tried v0.6.11 yet.

Oskar has stated that the game does keep track of alot of things, what things it's tracks is still a mystery.

If you look into a savegame you can guess, that every encounter will be recorded.
I would not be surprised, if a savegame could be used for a complete automatic playback of the adventure of a character.

I'm not sure the save files are large enough to hold that much information, but i can't wait to see what it does hold and how it will effect gameplay in the end. ^_^

My actual save file has a size of 83,5kB. It is a binary file, as I see UTF-8 strings between a lot of "unencoded junk" in my text editor. This gives the opprtunity to store huge amounts of information. And as we know that Oskar tries to be as efficient as possible, I am rather sure, that the only informations that might be missing for a replay are the ways we walked, but these might be interpolated by the coordinates of our fights
I would love to get to know more ... maybe I should take my time to look into the code.

Sounds like we are pretty much missing the "Upload to Youtube"-button?
Just kidding...

If we continue on this offtopic....
Actually what I would like to see is somekind of Summary of most important deeds.
Like
You have been unconscious 126 times.
You have gained 124455324 exp.
You have lost 1213 exp.
You killed your first demon at lvl 13.
You killed your first dragon at lvl 15.
You have walked 12454343439334 tiles.
You get the point

Maybe we could post these deeds to other players in our forum for comparison.

I think there are more than two factions, but am not sure how many, or what they are. Known: Nor City = Shadow, Feygard =?Light? (I am not at all sure of that.)
Possible: Thieves Guild, Kazual, whoever was fomenting the trouble between Prim and BWM, Iqhan. (I have not seen 6.11 yet.)

Lol, they don't store write that much... They do store a bestiary with counters, and I think they might store a list of maps you've been on, but I think that's it for what you can't get to in-game... I could be wrong, however...

I like thief, shadow, or friend of feyguard..possibly mage sympathizer.. obvious that feyguard/shadow seems to be main back and forth, but the theives guild tries to not concern themselves with those things..
Easiest to start with two and grow as needed.
