I guess that's one way to look at it . It's true that that would help in this particular case. I would still go the route of more BC though, so that you don't get the condition in the first place. More BC would help everywhere in the game.

However for me i prefer to hit them and kill them before that get the chance to attack at all lol. Slaughter and keep going

That's a perfectly acceptable method of prevention, too But if your AC and AD are already high and your BC is still low, you'll get more prevention per level from more defense than from pure a-good-offense-is-the-best-defense.

I can't seem to trigger the 'A Difference In Opinion' quest. After Elwyl explains the sisters' hostility towards each other I reply 'Is there anything I can do to help?' which leads to the reply 'get out of our house'...

I remember having no trouble doing this quest during my first playthrough, however this time I chose to help the witch instead of Remgard. Is that the reason for me not being able to do the quest...?

I know this is an old thread, but there is a new quest in the area, "A secret garden". I'm having trouble getting the key after killing the troll king, or was I not suppose to kill him? I stand right under the key and get a message "you may be a great warrior, but you are not a tall one. Maybe a jump with a runup?" I tried "running" at it from different sides and angles, can't seem to get it. What am I missing?

Just keep trying to do a running jump straight on. You will get it
