Can someone say where exactly the flagstone is? Couldn't find it. From guard,
West — north - the dark tunnel to prim village
West — north ( to dark tunnel end ) — east — north - backwater settlement
But where is flagstone? :(

Head south of Crossglen (starting village) past the snake cave and go another 2 screens down till you reach a fork in the road that turns west (should have mountains in the top left corner of the screen and woods/grass everywhere else. Go about 2 more screens to the left till you see a guard standing near the road, talk to him first but then head directly south into the woods and there's a little path that goes south-east and then curls back south again and you'll see Flagstaff prison.

It isn't accessible in this version of the game, but there are signs saying where it will be once its created.

Welcome to the forums, zxsh! (Interesting name.) Have fun, read the forums, and good luck! There are always people here ready to help, but the answers may be more "hints to point you in the right direction" than "go to A and do B." The overall philosophy is to let the player discover things on his own, while providing enough help that he can do so. :D. Some people feel more strongly about this than others do.

Heh, sorry about that. Definitely not the way I do things but I can understand that some people would feel that way so I've edited my earlier post with a spoiler thingiemajinger. The way I figure it is that if someone comes to the forum looking for the answer to a question then it's because they've already tried everything they can think of and need some step by step help. I'm terrible at riddles and puzzles and anything else like that so I'm always looking through the forums for a complete guide to follow. And for me, that's part of what makes the game enjoyable. If people on forums simply said "go figure it out yourself" then I'd probably quit the game and go on my way. If I could've, I would've. Don't get me wrong, I like trying to figure stuff out but when I run into spots where I have no solution then I need something like a forum full of answers to keep me going.

I understand the forum is a good place to ask for help, but in this case, I feel like one of the great things about this game is the open map. You can go anywhere that exists on the map, and only a few of those places require you to start a quest to gain access. Some games only let you go where the current quest(s) need you to.

So anyone who truly explored every open space on the map would have found Flagstone Prison, or the snake caves, or the gargoyle caves, etc. I didn't know that any of those places existed, I just wandered around while playing and tried every area. But I also wish I had been to the forum to read about how good the Venomous Dagger was (a couple updates ago anyway) before foolishly selling it off.

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

+1 and IMO
answers to almost every one (in game) question can be found in here already ;)
