Tweaking the "Questions" Thread - Poll

We want this section to be clean and understandable,
any input or suggestions would be appreciated...

The idea is to have a section for each quest,
so the main thread isn't littered with the same questions over & over.

at the same time, we can implement a mini walk through for each section
if someone posts a question about a quest - i can move it to the proper area
(and message the person who asked the question - letting them know it was moved)

in the end, im expecting a cleaner "questions" thread.
if it seems like a big mess - i can revert the thread to how it was
(over a page and a half of posts were relocated)

your thoughts???

Of course it's a good idea... Easier navigation = less duplication... At least in theory :D

Good idea, and good job, so far. You have a lot of work ahead of you, though, if you are going to go through all 53 pages of topics! I would suggest just deleting the really old copies of the same old questions. We don't need each question asked and answered ten times. Pick a clear statement of the question, and maybe a vague hint answer, a clearer hint answer, and a completely detailed clear answer. Then the player looking for an answer to that question can read the vague hint, if that doesn't help he can go on to the clearer hint, and if he is still in the dark, go to the clear, detailed answer. That way the player could select the amount of "hand-holding" he needs for each question. Delete everything else. Result: happy players; sorted, orderly q & a's; less repetition; smaller forum section.

The problem still exists that the search function in this forum is a complete joke. It NEVER finds what I am looking for or says word is to common. I am obviously an experienced user and that search is a terrible experience for me, I can just imagine what new users feel when using it.

I guess my point is that reorganizing the information is only half the battle.

I like lady blacks idea, but I'd just put A:How to start, B:How to finish, and C:Location of quest important things (like the sheep in LostSheep)

Just put the super detailed explanation, I use online guides all the time and I just quit reading if I don't want all the details. I think three versions of one answer would just confuse newcomers to the site.

There are tweaks incoming for the search function. Should be better in a day or two.
