A little lost

I'm currently running vs 0.6.10 and am at level 15. I've completed many of the quests, but am at a point where I can't seem to advance very well. I either monotonously have to keep killing easy pray and getting about 30 experience points each, or try some harder foes and often get killed with a few critical hits. I'm just not sure where the best place is to level up at this point and what is the best equipment? I currently have:

Code: Select all

leather cap
rigid chain mail
shielding necklace
steel broadsword
Mikhail's ring
superior wooden shield
ring of surehit
fine gloves of swift attack
reinforced boots
Any suggestions would be appreciated. :?:

Regards,

Brad

hi it can be a bit annoying at times but the best way is to keep plugging away like you are doing just to gain exp so you can start leveling up,a good place to plug away at your level is the snake cave where they are not to difficult to kill but give good drops like meat for hp,poison glands which you can sell, its just a matter of plugging away my friend, get that exp, level up,sell unwanted items for better equipment and in no time you will be invincable lol

if you haven't done Flagstone Fortress / Prison...
You really should, great XP & drops for gold too!
Might be a little rough for your level - depends on your build.
there is a fun quest & a NICE weapon too (at this point in the game)
Leave south out of Crossglen & follow the path untill it forks West...
Keep going until you see a - guard / soldier / knight - type of guy.
Flagstone is close - SSW from your current location.

I'm only guessing - seeing as you don't have the sword equipped... :D
At any rate - best of luck!

IMO, you should seriously consider the Jewel of Fallhaven rather than the shielding necklace. The reductionof AP by one gives you one additional attack per turn in a fight, which can make the difference between life and death, or at least reduce your potion use a lot. I don't recall the stats on either the steel broadsword or the shielding necklace, so you may prefer to stay as you are at present, but keep the JoF in mind.

I'll have to get a little more gold to get the jewel of fallhaven. I've give it a go. I'll just keep plugging away. :)

OK, did snake cave quite a bit until I was leveled up enough to go get the dungeon. After that, having the
flagstone's pride
made quite a difference. I'm up to level 19 and trying to get the giant wasp wings. How do you tell which ones drop the giant wings, or is it just random?

Sure...
I think they are called Frantic Wasps or something to that effect...
They also have more HP - I think it was high 70's?
For the most part, there was one per group / screen
He settles for 5 but if you snag 6 you get a little prize - haha
Happy hunting! :D
