Increased count of Kazaul spawn in the black maze

As I said in my first message (http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1408#p130219) the black Kazaul maze is the first time a rather frustrating experience. If one is located in a complete black part there's no hint if one is moving or not. This hint would be visible if at least a single Kazaul spawn is within the display. For that, the current count of Kazaul spawns is too low, it should have at least twice or three times as much.

I don't like the idea of any kind of light but think any hinting system is needed. Increasing the Kazaul spawns would be an easy solution.

it can be rough down there...
i changed my movement method to move around corners more easily.
it made stumbling around a little less cumbersome - especially when you cant see!

game settings / preferences are on your phones Menu button...
scroll down to movement method, if you haven't already.
it may (or may not) help a little.

just some thoughts, hopefully it eases the frustration.

i have read some complaints about these dark rooms...
but i LOVED seeing them! (the rooms, not complaints)
reminded me of the days when i actually 'got stuck' in video games.

There is a trick people have been using to get through the cave. Long Click on an item (One that you dont care about, like a rock.) and drop it on the ground. The bag is a marker that you can now use to figure out if you are moving or not in the dark.


I do feel like the number of spawn/Imps down there are too few, i think increasing their numbers would help people to get the elusive Legendary item.

Nyktos: I find those settings to be the best for wondering in the dark as well. Excellent post sir.

Sure, the dropping stones or items trick is sufficiant, but then please document in the game HOW stones/items can be dropped. Until I've read in the forum it never occured to me pressing long on an item. BTW are there more "hidden" commands in the game?

Actually I don't mind if the L/E items' drop rate is 1/1000 and 1/10000 respectively, but at least increase the spawn rate of these creatures that drops them. Similar to those creatures on the road to Blackwater Mountain where those creatures spawn every 15 - 30 seconds.

In my experience, playing on a tab makes a big difference. In some maps, like the dark tunnel towards the Kazaul shrine, knowing your way + seeing the whole room makes it quite easy. But, the first couple of times I was quite searching as well. I don't mind that though, trying to imagine going through a totally dark area like a cave (and I have RL experience traversing caves, I can imagine that to be extremely scary for a 12 year old, since there is also creepy evil creatures.... brrrr)... it fits the adventure :-)

Just use the spawns as ur reference points that's how I do it
