The fate of the "The Fait of the 'Game!' topic" topic?

The poll says it all. Should we be able to vote to collectively get rid of something that has been an incredible thorn in our sides for a long time, or should we continue to endure the annoying habits of this topic because everyone has the right to enjoy this game, forum, and community however it pleases them as long as it is not mean or harmful to other members?
