1. So, to combine some ideas of things people have been asking for I was thinking magic & respawn could be together in a spell called replicate which would make every creature in the room you're in to split into two copies of itself (like Shredder did in TMNT2).
2. How about a potion master that could combine potions for you for a fee of some kind. Maybe give him 3 BMP and you get a combined potion that heals 80 hp (or give him 4 for 100, whatever ratio you feel is balanced). Or you can give him a BMP and a potion of speed along with gold and some bee wings (or whatever else) and voila a potion of speed that heals 40 hp!

1) while i also wish the grind would go quicker, i think it kind of goes against nature to implement this idea. who, in their right mind, would cast a spell that doubles the number of deadly enemies he/she has to fight?
2)we've already seen two instances where a specific NPC gives us a quest which ends with us getting unlimited access to specific potions. i'd bet there will be others. (actually, i'm only against it cuz then i'd have to remember stuff, and me not much brains for thinking stuff.)

#1 makes the game to easy. Benefits to much both during grinding for XP and for extraordinary & legendary items.
I vote "no" on this one.

Said the guy who already has 2 RoLS...

You tend not to like things that would benefit others that you don't need though, so that vote was kind of expected.

Even if I didn't have one, I would still have that opinion. This functionality takes away from the value of the RoLS as it would become less rare and the accomplishment of looting one is diminished as well. If I was coding this game and was to introduce this functionality, then I would reduce the power of the E & L items.
You work hard, you get rewarded.

The only L or E item worth anything is the RoLS. The other ones should be easier to get. The potion could always have the effect of reducing the drop rate of L or E items...

That is your opinion.

If you would settle for this, then why would you want this functionality? The only other reason is to gain XP faster, but we have the Quick Learner skill for this.

I'd be willing to bet no one constantly uses any other L or E items.
I like to kill stuff, and I want to test some stuff out.

Then find yourself an E or L item and test away.

I don't want to test the items. I want to test something else. I don't need to test the items to know I wouldn't wear any of them...
