how about we are able to rearrange the items in the inventory to suit you(so that you dont have to scroll down to use that item) ???

We do have quick use slots, it makes sense though. The little guy would probably be able to rearrange his bag.

yea but in v6.10 use of quick slots makes the game lag very much.
hope this gets fixed

Sorry, forgot (probably because I don't have that problem somehow).

Without those, I definately see the need for it. And it would make sense anyway - so a couple reasons to put that in. Personally I thought grouping the inventory would be nice for things like changing equipment, but never said so. I'm glad I didn't since this is a better idea.

lucky you..without that lag

nice idea.

currently i do this by dropping everything that i want to re-arrange then picking it up in order again.
time consuming and can be difficult to remember which pile is which.
i find it useful for keeping tabs on rock counts and having BM on the top of my items etc.

Once you have arranged things as you want them by the method outlined by Stoodge, try not to sell or use the last one of any item. As long as you have one of something any more you buy or get from drops will be added to that item in that position in your inventory list. If you do not have any in your inventory, it will go to the bottom of the inventory list, which is probably not where you want it.

Makes it really tough for L&E items. I really wish we had the ability to move items as well. I was thinking about the ability to slide stuff over and back in side by side inventory lists with your bin at home, but the ability to do it all on your guy without going home would be way better. Maybe best of all would be the ability to assign a number slot to an item and have it stay in that position regardless of what you do, and/or can insert or re-insert items into your list as desired/acquired.

I remember a post somewhere in which Oskar said he wanted to do something about separating the inventory by item type, so he is working on the problem. I would like to see a little "move button" on each place in the list. Hold it down and slide the item up or down the list to where you want it. I have seen that in some other lists, like bookmarks in a browser. I have no idea of the feasibility for this purpose. It may require tons of code or be impossible for some other reason, but I think it would meet everyone's needs.

It would be good if the lag- when-you-use-the-quick-slots issue could be tracked down and fixed, also. I did not know there was anyone not having this problem now.
