I know what you mean. But it basically doesn't matter how well you know computers. I'm basically the walking definition of geek, yet I have the same problem sometimes since this is on OSes I don't know.

Android isn't quite a computer anyway. The systems are initially produced by Google, but most phone carriers/makers change them slightly for compatibility on their devices too.
