what does that mean if weapon doesnt have damage percentage?

If you mean damage modifier, then no weapon should not have one . What weapon are you referring to?

The Info for my Hunters Swords says 'damage modifier: 100%'
So it's not absent, 100% means you just won't get a boost on your AD by wielding it.
