What if you were to implement a "use (item) with" feature. It's seems to be somewhat of a middle ground.

Hello MasterMantis, and welcome to the forums.
That would still require changes to the game engine, which shoves it well down the priority list. We have very limited resources for AT (it's just a handful of unpaid volunteers), so we have to put our efforts into what gives the most return. Crafting, or anything like it, is so far down the list that it will probably never happen (unless we get a lot more volunteers on the dev team!).

I appreciate the efforts you guys are putting in this game which i love to play. And i'm not a programmer or coder, so i can't help either. But i wish you good luck in making this game better and better and more enjoyable. Thanks for this wonderful game.

Well you gotta have berry pies and/or something made using the various fruits and berries

Yes, but it's not the traditional "crafting" that so many people have asked for which our engine doesn't support.
The only crafting we have always requires an NPC. It's basically a trade. You give him or her a bunch of items and they return you one to many items.
It's a static conversion. There's no dynamic nature to this as the engine doesn't support it

I mean yeah that's fine the journey is irrelevant it's the destination. 2 berries and an egg trade for a pie that heals 40 and gives sustenance 5 rounds or whatever it would do etc. Etc.

It takes more ingredients than that to make a pie.

No I haven't explored everything everytime I get somewhere in this game my phone gets destroyed and I have to start over I've been through like 13 phones over the last 10 years it's a whole thing. Where do you get them?

You should back up your save files to the cloud.
