Biding my time, gaining levels to get more AD... then I need more AC too. In the meantime, to stand a decent chance at killing Irdeghs and Spiders I've thrown on a bunch of crit gear along with the DotSP. This way I have either 4 attacks (if it looks like I'll succeed) or 2 attacks plus a flee (if things look iffy). Hitting for 100+ points of dmg can be fun but right now I don't even have a 1/4 chance to crit so I still have to flee a lot but not as often as I did with 6 attacks (or 3 + flee) fighting barehanded. When it comes to the spiders I definitely need more AC. An effective AC of 212%-165%=47 is too far below the 90% EAC I would like to maintain. Good news is, I get cleave in 3 more levels at which point I should also have 37-43 AD in barehanded stance or 40-41 AD in crit stance. My current goals are 40 min AD and 255% AC in barehanded but to make things easier with the spiders I may have to go back and grab my quickstrike dagger.

Oh, AT... so much fun

Crit Stance:
Level: 41, HP: 62, AC: 212%, AD: 37-38, AP: 3/12, BC: 23%, DR: 0, CHS: 41, CM: 3.0, ECC: 23%
Gold: 39080 | RoLS: 0, SR: 450+ | RoL: 0, PSG: 0
In Order: IF(1), Ev(3), CE(1), CS(2), Re(1), WA(1), HH(1)

Gear:
Leather Cap: 6% BC
Villain's Leather Armour: -4% AC, 3 CHS, 15% BC, lower move cost 1 AP
Jewel of Fallhaven: lower attack cost 1 AP
Dagger of the Shadow Priests: 4 AP attack cost, 20% AC, 1-2 AD, 20 CHS, 3.0 CM
Superior Wooden Shield: -4% AC, 9% BC
2x Polished Ring of Backstabbing: 21% AC, 4 AD, 7 CHS
Troublemaker's Gloves: 7% AC, 4 CHS, 4% BC, raise max HP +1
Vacor's Boots of Attack: 9% AC, 2% BC
Is there any better crit gear I can get? I haven't done anywhere near as much research on this gear so I just grabbed a few items that I could remember. I'm sure some of you know some much better pre-remgard gear that I could grab easily. Thanks :)

sadly - the only upgrade possible, as far as critical builds go, is the RoLS.

even then, the only things missing are the boots & helm in Remgard...
so it looks like you are good to go!

[unless i forgot something?]
(which is possible)

Pre-Remgard, meaning = before you get there...
[thinking this was just an English mix up]

:D

and those [what Sarumar mentioned] were the boots & helm...
that's why i didn't bother listing them.

[just to clarify]

;)

Re-reading this thread brings back a lot of great memories :D

Oh, back when I was a noob......

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. And here I am now wishing I could be surrounded on all 8 sides by monsters so that I could kill them faster

Also, while I didn't remember this, apparently this is my 3rd char, not 2nd. Hmm. :|

It is fun to go back and read what people first posted on the forums especially when they have become such a valued member (just like you and Sarumar are)

My first posts are silly, i was very confused on where the BMPs were.

I'm wondering do I need to get an updated version of the game or is it that I have to complete some other quest to unlock parts of the map?
