Sorry I didn't ever get in here. Let me try to catch up on a few things.
Corpse Eater should not have to wait until after the whole battle. It's already not the greatest skill, why make it worse? I was going to say the name is a misnomer because how would he just physically eat the corpse of the monster he just killed, but then I realized dude eats raw meat a lot (or at least he used to before he gained sophisticated palate for the sweet nectar that is Bonemeal).
Mathematically, Corpse Eater seems better than Regeneration, however, if you use the Pause&Play method (I apologize I cannot remember off hand who initially cited that as a reason the RoLS was better than I thought) Regeneration gains a lot of 'usefulness points'. This is especially important to anyone who likes to grind while doing something else (like work

) or to anyone looking for Legendary items. It may also be nice for certain people who get stuck on mountains with no more potions; being able to completely top off your HP simply by avoiding monsters could help you back down.
+2 to ctnbeh13, for a couple awesome posts.

I was not my secret strategy, but let the others figure it out themselves.
I kinda think that anyone coming here is either not all that in to doing it themselves, or has already done it all and is here being super nice and helping others. Either way, if they really wanted to do it on their own they wouldn't not click the spoiler button, they would, instead, not be on a forum! I honestly don't know anyone who doesn't open spoilers and think they may kinda be pointless. The only ones I can think of being really something people don't want to press is the new one about the quests. It is possible someone just wants to check and see if the have all of the quests on the list without ruining one, but even then, if they missed one, they're probably going to want to know how to start it.
We've discussed QL on another thread in depth; my thoughts have not changed.
I tend to think that the most useful skills are ones that continue to help you again and again. Fortitude is a good example (as is QL). Might I also add that if you are going to pick Fortitude, the very best way is to take it at level 4
& 8. One skill into Fortitude won't even have you at 100 HP at level 60, and the sooner you take it, the more you get out of it. I tend to think Magic Finder, however, is not.
Maybe it will help you get your RoLS, but after you get it those skill points are completely wasted. It is possible that another Legendary item worth wearing will be written into the game, but as it stands now there is only the RoLS. If you use Magic Finder 6 for instance, you could have instead
doubled your CC% (for me that was 41% to 82%) and Regeneration 1 (to equal the Regen of the RoLS). That's huge! And has to make up for the tiny difference between the RoLS and the PRoB (that isn't Regen). The more you use to find it, the worse the deal becomes.
As for my favorite skill? Well, like every single other player I agree that Combat Speed is #1 and completely amazing. If it wasn't capped... After that I guess I should go based on how many times I've picked them in my build. 5: More Criticals (but that will be 6 very soon) and QL, 4: Fortitude, and 3: Regeneration.

Totally agree. I don't know if I'd even choose them at that... But 25% reduction max of three levels might make them kinda interesting. Even at that, you'd need to dump 6-9 skill points into them. Speaking of, can someone list all of the things you can be afflicted with and which category they belong to? That may be another reason why people don't choose them; they don't want to pick the wrong one for the condition that most annoys them.
Maybe they should all be added into the description in the game.
I may have to put something into Evasion after all this 100%CC nonsense is taken care of.
