Hey, I recently got into mapmaking again, got a few ideas for the area left of Stoutford. Just wanted to know if there is already anybody working there, or if Mt Galmore is reaching into this area. From what the current maps tell, the Mountain itself is streching around the city into the area I want to work on

If you make it we will find a place for it.

Mt Galmore is mostly south of Stoutford. If you are heading east that should be OK. We can adjust things if necessary.

Hey contributors!
We have a tool now that shows the places in the worldmap that are worked on:
If you are also working on a contribution, please contact us. We can reserve it here, then your area also appears on this map. The project must be created in a Github repository for it and the world map in ATCS.

Yeah that's dangerous. That's going to take a lot of coordination with the person that's working on the maps just east of that area. You need to coordinate with that author in order to make sure all of the maps align and you have all the topography correctly built
I recommend that you get on Discord and you can talk to the author of those maps currently being worked.
And to reserve an area, you must have a GitHub account with an active project that our tool can link to to show up on this map.

Somebody's working there? Hasn't been mentioned here yet. I recommend updating a post or even a GitHub Repository to always have the current status of areas that are being worked on.

what do you mean "there"?
Like I already told hasanshoorgashti today, he needs to have a GitHub project set up and linked to our tool in once Nut runs this tool this map can get updated

there = east of Aidem Camp. There is nothing marked on Nut's image, that's why I wondered. When the map gets updated, how can we tell? Like is this post being updated or is there a public GitHub repository for the tool?

Again, like I told the original poster he needs to have a public GitHub repository with the project and we need to link Nut's tool to it. Then once that tool gets executed, it will generate a new world map that he will have to publish here.
So there are a lot of manual steps. But the creation of that map is automated by the tool
