RoL is worth getting. And some people have just gone for a complete collection of the legendary and extraordinary items, regardless of how good they are.

Level 400 is still the cap in the current release. It's not deliberate though. I fixed it so that the cap will be 486 in the next release (assuming the fix gets accepted). That doesn't sound like much of an increase, but it requires more than 2x the XP to get there. Anyway, from level 46, you have a very long way to go before you have to worry about it!

only thing that is stopping me on the RoL is it is a Rapier, which would mean i gotta spend 2 Oegyth Crystals i think since i have

dagger proficiancy (did i type this correct? via quick reply thing.) Editied: sweet i did. MWAHAHAHAHA there is no stopping md now.

Sorry, RoL requires one-handed sword proficiency. I spent on both dagger proficiency and one-handed sword proficiency. I decided the price was worth the flexibility. Like everything in AT though, it's a choice.

Yea long time lurker, even longer time player (been on & off with several builds since about 2012)
The grind is a TOTAL DRAG. Lol

But there's a trick I came across I just now decided to try.
I'd been doing it pretty straightforward, kill everything, wait/rest, repeat.
But if you kill the trainers from the two big rooms, then save/reload while killing the two in the small room, and the big rooms respawn! Even while you reload! You gain xp this way while minimizing unproductive wait time.

Stupid question, will the ring ever appear in your inventory without warning after a kill or will it be displayed like all that gravel we despise? Just paranoid.

Also, do yall suppose it's better to keep my spot where I'm surrounded by 4, or just slay everything and let it respawn?

P.S. ...I'm at lvl 28, and I'm so tempted to go MF2 instead of saving for CS2.. but that would just be foolish. CS2 at lvl 30 is obvious, followed by saving for IF3 at lvl 35. At least that's how I play lol

You will get a warning, but in the kill-reload-kill blur it's possible to miss that warning

I think the fastest approach is to keep the 4, and reload if you don't get the ring.

Makes sense, I valued those xp gains and moved on from my spot, but it should be an easy predicament to reproduce.

...I'm starting to think I should revert to a previous save and use my lvl24 skill point on dual wield instead of magic finder lol but losing 2 levels would hurt.. decisions

I would revert back to the previous save in a heart beat, no need to waste skill points on Magic Finder, so many more useful skills.
