I just got back from 2 weeks holiday (with no internet), a whole lot of catching up to do (including playing the official update instead of the alpha version). a whole lot of posts to read here.

There is already place for that:sorrow wrote:ok because in one of the topics we got way off topic and started making fun of what we would do to Andor when we found him. It was funny. If Pyro or nykoes (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) can move those puns here and keep the laughter rolling thanks a bunch.
I use my quiet time in-between customers to check the forums and to play Andor's Trail. My own little way to Zen out before having to deal with the general public.Antison wrote:So I am trying to work from home today as I have a dentist appointment in the mid-morning, and my damn VPN wont connect to my work PC. So I am now waiting for IT to fix my issue. This is a good enough excuse to browse the forum don't you think?

I believe it's safe to say that the development goal is to produce Andor's Trail as a finished product. There are many ways to provide a game engine, and a decision on how much detail to provide in terms of accompanying creation tools to suit the needs of the level of the individual's understanding of programming language and satisfy the user regardless, can significantly determine the length of time that such a side project would take to complete. Doing such a project seems to me as a peripheral interest, but all the while delaying the progress of Andor's Trail itself.
Whether you might be looking to contribute to the development of Andor's Trail, or create your own game, let us know, and there should be one of us available to point you in a more specific direction.
Hope that's of some help...
