It has change/been ripped off as the generation changed and different myths were formed. Alot of people look to vampires as Goth wear and style but most Gothic wear influence comes from middle ages. As the generations changed punks came into view and alot of there style was taken from then Goths. And we now have emo people who's look is heavily like Goth but to tell the difference most emo people cut themselves were Goths don't.[/color]

i was more or less commenting on the state of pop culture.

it's sad that what once was worn in rebellion,
is now being worn to fit in & look cool...

nowadays - most people have missed the point & it's painful to watch them stumble.
