Sorry to hear that... it's just plain bad luck... Cheer up!

It is purely based on luck.....increased Magic Finder only slightly helps your luck, it guarantees nothing....check this topic for some details...I"m sure there are others that explain the chances as well.

Well, two levels of MF doubles your chances, which could be argued to be a big increase in luck. On the other hand, two times a very small chance is still a very small chance, so perhaps you are right
