I don't know about the math behind it, but I feel like magic finder really paid off (I have level 10 on it). Just got my last missing Legendary item this morning (the ElyR). It felt like that one took the longest but I only had 200 weak poisons when it happened.
As for lying on the board, basically we're all on the honor system, and there's really no reason to lie anyway, its a 1 player game, and we're all just here to throw out ideas, share accomplishments or frustrations, and have some fun outside the game but not completely away from it.
But if it helps assure you, I got some screen shots of my inventory and stats (the gold count dropped a lot since that screen shot because I bought a lot of speed potions).

man compared to you my stats are horrible i have like 1/3 the ac and 1/2 the damage thats crazy

You know... You could always just make that happen yourself... It is not like the code isn't out there. I know that I personally am gonna play around with it, who knows, maybe if Oscar would like some help, I may contribute.

Hello everybody! I started to play this really nice game about 1,5 weeks ago and now I'm level 17. I went to hunt RoLS and got it when I killed around 150 gargoyle trainers wohoo!

If you collect five L&E items in one week, and noone is on the board to hear you brag, does anyone care? I only had my 1st ROLS last Friday.Yay me! Check out my signature...really loving my new shiny RoL in the Iqhan caves.
