Same here. Maybe this proves he needs to show up later. That way he (or what's likely to be left after the introductions) could feel bad for himself...

actually, because of my failure to save my game, i ended up having to re-do this quest, and ended up getting the leading rumor i needed from different source than i had, the first go-round.

What do you get for finishing this quest? I can't seem to finish it either...

When I finished it all I got was xp and a few items (nothing worth mentioning) sidenote, the guard you talk to after finishing off the wrong-doer tells you to speak to the steward in feygard castle...but feygard to my understanding is not open yet.

Can this quest be reset for the next update if there is a glitch that prevents you from finishing it??
