The ending hasn't been written yet, so we don't know "Who is most exposed to the risk of exploitation by the evil forces of the Kazul, etc.?". Maybe There will be a blinding flash of light and Feygard will vanish into the Rift. Then everyone left will say "good thing I was standing in the shadows"

I'll tell you what, the real plot twist could only come through a rendezvous at the middle. Let's just say the light becomes overaggressive and the shadow too meek. What rebellious third party will tinker with the delicate tension built up throughout centuries of political rivalries? Who will dare tease at the unraveling of the chaotic abyss? Who has most to gain in the volatility of war?
Answer: Neither the light, nor the shadow, but maybe the bad actors that have probably adversely changed Andor's life forever. We have a common enemy that hides in the shadows (not the shadow). And it's time to set aside our dif... maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here.
