The deep wells are hurting me, the first time I entered I fluked it to the ohmmm dialogue, but I don’t think I picked up anything, it’s not on my list of recovered parts & im still missing a skull, I’ve tried starting over but I can’t work out the sequence again, am I wasting time here? There’s a yellow flag so I assume it’s important. TYIA

You assume right that the skull is important.
Check your quest log if there is line like
If not then talk to the old man again until he says something besides ommm.

AHHHH, thank you! Patience isn’t my strong point, but I’ve spoken to the man again… now back to the museum

Can you please provide a hint for that? A vague one will do. I started a thread on this subject a few days ago - including speculation about what may result from it - but there's been no response. I'm fairly sure that the cheese would only make a difference while Fraedro is still held captive, which may explain why you didn't notice anything had been changed by it.

Hello, anyone can spare a hint as to where the back bone is located please? I've spent many hours back and forth pretty much covering every mm of the rat cave but to no avail
