The map pieces should carry over from previous version. You should have a folder called world map.

Do you mean that you see areas not yet explored by your character on the worldmap?Urbain wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 7:27 pmYes, the one starting with Odair. Also of note, there are a bunch of random map tiles that are visible even though this is a brand new character and I've only been around Crossglen and Fallhaven. I've maybe visited ten tiles altogether yet parts of Blackwater are visible, parts of the map to Remgard, a few of the new areas, etc.rijackson741 wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 1:18 am Do you mean the "Rat infestation" quest? I just tried that, and it worked for me.
I also cannot complete the Calomyran secrets quest. It's almost like some of the quests are already done but can be started?
That's correct. I JUST started this character with the beta after deleting the alpha. There should be no maps showing but the ones around Crossglen and Fallhaven.Zukero wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 7:47 pmDo you mean that you see areas not yet explored by your character on the worldmap?Urbain wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 7:27 pmYes, the one starting with Odair. Thanks Zukero. Weeks doesn't sound too bad, but I'll have a play with the beta if I get a stress free day any time soon, although I might have to wait for my son to get back from holiday to explain stuff to me, (he's disappeared off to the Serengeti for a week with his camera).Zukero wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 11:36 amThere are two unknowns:Schmmiiirc wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 10:10 am That's probably my best/safest option, and I hate to ask, but how long do you anticipate it being before it's on Google Play?

- What bugs the beta testers will report, and how long it takes to fix them.
- How fast I'll be able to perform the remaining work to ensure a high quality release.
Overall, I'm thinking weeks, not months, but who knows...
I don't see this, but I am not sure that I am playing quite the same version as you are (and, right now, there are reasons I don't want to switch). There was / is a known bug where initially you do not see any maps other than the one you are standing on, even if you load an old savegame where you have been everywhere (the worldmap will update, but you would have to go everywhere again to fill it inUrbain wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:30 pm That's correct.
