I remember chuckling to myself as I read that one; but if it was really implemented, who would drop it? We can hardly fight lord Geomyr without altering the storyline of the main quest.

Ok before I post me weapon ideas I gotta ask this. If I post a picture of a weapon that I physicaly own, can the dev team take that picture and turn it into an item that we can obtain in the game?

It wouldn't be the same; it would become a cartoon, because a real life picture probably wouldn't fit well into an old-school game. But yeah, I think they would consider.

If you're a marine, then I'm the starting first baseman for the Red Sox.

I think that when hero goes for a walk and suddenly finds BFG just laying untouched in the grass spoils the game's spirit. At least as I see it.
The player is just a part of the world, one of others, not the Chosen one nor son of gods, he survives and wins thanks to his mind, communicative and battle skills. Not because he has BFG, but because he knows how to use better from ordinary knife or qualitative solder's sword. And of course legendary weapon becomes powerful in his hands. But this weapon should not automatically convert milkmaid into universal soldier. I'm not against legendary weapon, but want to point, it should at least take an effort to receive it. Killing snakes to collect meet than sell it for gold coins to buy your first hardened steel sword so you can at least leave your village to search for your brother is really epic effort compared to finding some right NPC on the road. There should be at least some history with recovering might of this weapon, or putting pieces together. Weapon should encourage more different battle tactics: fast but weak, strong but slow, offensive, defensive, critical, retreative. Not just add X dmg or AC.
I like very much how daggers are made in the game. I looked only on daggers because of current build. How player should chose between cons and pros, count steps in battle and damage. This makes every decision valuable and competitive.
Every character wants to gain more power, but at the same time there is no better way to spoil the joy of game than give a cheat code to the player.
