I can live without it but would also use fast travel if it became available and the cost wasn't too high.
I'd also like to see a quest to reopen the mine that leads to Prim so we don't have to stumble in the dark.

I would like to see this too.

IMO opinion Fast Travel in this game at this point is totally useless. The map has gotten much bigger (I have been playing since before the Blackwater update) but even with the addition of Remgaurd it really doesn't take that long to get from there to Blackwater.
But I am really hoping for those shortcuts to be opened up! Primm Mine, Blackwater Cabin, and maybe a boat to Remgaurd?

So far, the record is just under 20 minutes to get from Remgard to Blackwater Mountain settlement and back (
http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1957). The only part I'm not fond of is stumbling through the dark, which is why I'd love a quest that reopens the mine to get to Prim (the guy that first leads us there seems able to crawl through).
Reopening the gate to the cabin would also be great, as would being able to explore the blocked off mine near Prim and maybe finding those missing people.

I agree with Mino on all points. +1
of horses and dragons

While walking with my wife and my dogs I asked myself:
Why don't we have horses? And what about the greatest of all monsters: dragons?
the idea is: at some level your Char gained a lot of money and maybe likes to switch location a bit faster. But there is atm no real chance to spend those thousandsor even millions of gold.
So introducing the possibility to buy a horse every once in a while could solve this inflation of millionars...
Let the price for the horse be in the range of 50k+ gold AND while riding from A to B there should be a very low chance of a confrontation with a dragon. The dragon always slays the horse (money blown...) and maybe(!) the Char has a chance to survive. Evrry confrontation with a dragon give XP (real low when the Char died - no XP lost! or some thousands XP when defending the dragon). The dragon will never die, but fly away if the Char manages to inflict 1000+ damage to the dragon. In this case the dragon thinks that it likes to eat the horse in another places without distraction...

This is a creative idea (keep them coming) but not something that I would like to see implemented.

LordLancelot wrote:It does not have to be magical fast travel, but let say traveling in a caravan, you pay a fee in gold and 1 food per day needed to reach destination.
Caravan travel can only go to place you already visited (or did all quest of the area, or a specific quest to allow caravan travel there).
Let say 100 gp and one food per map traveled. 10 screen travel would cost 1000gp and 10 food.
P.S.
Yes the unrealistic answer make no sense in a medieval fantasy game setting.
It seem some of you think there is only your way of playing a game and having fun...
That's a pretty good idea. Especially if there is a chance of the caravan being ambushed by bandits that you couldn't possibly beat (and who take your gold) until you could easily make it to the destination on your own two feet.
