I have one devolopment wish I would like to add into topics to be discussed:
Message log and dying.
When I die, I never see what happened. I would like to know who/what killed me. It has actually couple times came into me, that I enter combat with 2 monsters.
I have full hp at start of the combat and right after that I wake up in my last bed.
So what happened? The combat round is wiped in dying, so I never see the hits that actually killed me. It could help sometimes, but this is no big issue, just annoying because sometimes I cant see how hard some monsters can actually hit.

That's a good point, duallifes. I would like to see a way to read the messages after a fight. They scroll and disappear so fast, especially when the fight is over.

Maybe a combat log in the hero menu? A perfect place, I think, would be in the quest menu tab, since it looks like a list, and after you click it have two more tabs, one for quests and one for a combat log?

I think he means added text during combat,
Or more time to read / see what killed you.
How about having a toast pop up before the screen change?
Or, better yet... How about a unique splatter image for our hero?
Example: you take lethal damage...
The hero splatters...
A toast pops up about your unconscious state...
THEN we see the hero getting out of bed.
