At the moment I'm running for a RoL, which would go perfect with my defence, -dmg, leeching build. Basically with the high chance monsters will miss me, combined with -dmg and leech, I'm expecting to never again having to use a potion in my chars life.
If I look at this info, it's only the imps that can drop it, not the spawns? Would that make it more interesting to only kill the imps to speed up grinding? Or should I kill everything that moves in the hope of getting some more spawns (that could be imps)? At the moment a full clear of the second floor of the kazaul dungeon takes me 4 minutes...

Only the imps drop the RoL. Killings the kazul spawns doesn't affect the spawning of the imps.

Kill them for sport.
I get them to prove that i am serious about commiting Genoside on their whole comunity if they don't give me the Flaming Sword (RoL).

I want to take a minute to apologize to everybody that I told that the RoL wasn't worth the grind because now that I have one, I am in love with it. I just had to take it into the Iqhan cave to see what it could do, and man was I impressed! It is really cool to see your HP go up on every hit and kill. Must be really demoralizing to the monster, having just hit you for X HP just to see you get back 0-3 points.
For those who are apprehensive about it, I recommend just go for it. You wont regret it.

Hit points? We no need no stinking hit points.
(Fortitude = you don't have to grind for an inferior weapon...)

If you have the RoL, then you wont need to commit as many skill points to fortitude. I have 2 in fortitude now and don't plan to add more to it until the need arises.

Yes, but if you have Fortitude, you don't need to commit to wasting time looking for an inferior weapon AND you don't have to equip an inferior weapon. Plus, similar to the adage "there's no replacement for displacement" being able to recoup life means nothing if that container isn't big enough to hold as much as you need.

You and I have different ideas and strategies on building a character. I believe in defense and you love swinging away as hard and as often as possible. I believe in preventing the loss of HP (see my DR) as opposed to increasing my HP to some extraordinarily high number (see your HP) so that you can be reactive. Your BC was pathetic until you took my advice a few weeks back and started adding to it on every level-up. Your BC is now higher then mine, but mine is just as affective because I took the information Samuel provides to us(some where in the forum, not looking for it) about AC & BC and applied it to my build.
You say "you don't need to commit to wasting time looking for an inferior weapon", well that my fried is purely your opinion and I believe you are in the minority (if that matters to you, it doesn't to me) on that one.
