Seahawks are 10-1...

You still think the 49ers have the skills/players needed to make it to the super bowl?
Well, yes I do. Aldon Smith has been back for 2 weeks now and has already made his presence felt. Michael Crabtree is back tomorrow and not a moment to soon as the Niners offense has missed him something awful. They look good Monday night versus the pathetic Redskins, but looking good is looking good.

Next week at home vs Seattle. Revenge time.
I watched bits and pieces of the Redskins and 49ers game the other day and i have to make one observation:

The Redskins offensive line is pooped! RJ3 had NO protection the entire game... I agree that they did come out and looked good while playing, but considering how poorly the Redskins have been playing in the last few games.... I wouldn't read too far into that victory. The Texans, Jaguars, Vikings, or the Ravens could have easily beaten the Redskins (The 4 lowest ranking teams in the NFL at this time with only 2 wins each)

The 49ers are looking a lot stronger now that a few of their major gaps have been filled, but only time will tell if it will be enough to keep them in the running.

===Addition=================================================================

Seattle Seahawks are now at 11 wins and only 1 loss.

The window of opportunity for the rest of the NFC West is closing fast!!!

:mrgreen: :mrgreen: THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Pyrizzle,

Are you nervous? It's revenge time for my Niners today!!!! 49ers at home versus your Seahawks. I'm feeling really confident that my Niners will win this one.

Not even a little bit my friend. It's been a good game so far, both quarterbacks have been playing really well.

It does look like the 49ers are starting to get a lil frustrated.... they have been getting flagged all over the place

====Addition====
After all the game clocks have reached 0 for the day I'll do an update of the standings. =)

PS: Hope Eric Wright is going to be ok, that was a pretty nasty looking unintentional hit.

Hey there. What is that quote from? I've heard it forever but don't know the origin.

Antison: That was one heck of a game!

But 11-2 still beats 9-4

As of right now the Seahawks are sitting in the 1st seed spot and the 49ers are in the 6th seed spot (above the Cardinals). They are one game up from the Cards and would beat the Cards in most of the Tiebreaker situations. Hey, at least this spot has a little padding, right? :lol:

Good game, now the Seahawks head to New York!

It came from the movie "21".

Years ago every Las Vegas casino had a 3 piece chicken dinner with potato and veggie for $1.79. A standard bet back then was $2.00, hence when you won a bet you had enough for a chicken dinner. So now you know the rest of the story.

Thank you. Should have known it was a gambling reference.
