LOL The sonics? Meh, good riddens... I've never been a fan of Basketball and the Sonics had a history of being good in the 70s and 80s... That was quite some time ago. They did have that one big run in the 90's where they lost to the Bulls in last game... (The Bulls had one CHAMPIONSHIP team)

Who knows, maybe one day we'll get another team. There has been talks about a new stadium being built near the existing ones (Which is a stupid idea considering the heavy traffic already in that area)

At least you guys have the real estate to build. I would kill for a new baseball stadium in Boston, but the city doesn't have the land for one.

Very true, the SODO (SOuth DOwntown) area is mostly an industrial area, so there is always a chance that Paul Allen or some other big shot could buy up some space and start one.

I have a question; why is it the 'world' series when only American teams can enter?

Because back in 1901 when the World Series was created, only America played baseball. However, in recent years there has been talk of the winner playing a series against the Japanese winners.

Oh, I see. And the UK teams are worse than Canada's. Also, Singapore has an okay team, but they're not pro level.
So Japan is probably the best competition.

IDK I think a few countries in South America could produce a winning Baseball team if they tried.
