God I wish they would do this and the same thing in a couple other places. I freaking love this game but my God the way you have to navigate through some of these maps is ridiculous. Just for instance going to Longford I believe it's called from the guard house and a lot of the area eastward from there. I understand that the next eastern town has to have limited entrances and exits due to the local quests. But good lord the surrounding areas are a pain in the buttons trying to get around. Always the long way with this game lol. The exp it forces you to get is nice and needed but jeez the dungeons give me my fill of mazes the overworked just doubles down. Could've called it "Mazes and Monsters" (wonder if anyone will get that reference lol...)

Butt* (not buttons) Loneford (not longford) overworld (not overworked) good grief this damn auto correct is gonna give me a stroke sorry about that. Since you don't know me personally it's a battle everyday for me with android auto correct. If you were to ask anyone that texts me they'd have more than 1 funny story to relay about my auto struggles lol

Blob of kazarite
In this recent version of the game (0.8.12.1)??

The best part comes when your character is powerful enough to defeat monsters that have held whole villages in terror but still struggles to fight its way through some routes, then NPCs casually mention that they took the same route to visit a relative or sell some goods, as if it were no big deal.
