If you plan to do a lot of grinding for the ElyR, I would recommend choosing Blackwater so you'll have a bed there. The three screens with the Wyrm trainers are immediately below (above?) the settlement. Plus there is another quest which will allow you to get a bed in Prim, regardless of which side you choose. I've heard that the loot drop from killing the BW king is better than what you get from killing the Prim king, but I think the bed is more valuable.

it is every where, the min you go up the moutain , then after the hut ( snow) u have to fight the monster to get to it, you cannot avoid them

How do you start this quest?

@countvlad54 You start by going to the guard on the lower level of the blackwater mtn. Settlement and talk to the guard who is guarding the hallway you cant go in. You need the papers you get from the village at the bottom of the mountain for either killing the king of blackwater mtn. Or persuading him to move. The guard will look at your papers and let you through. Go through the orange, then purple, blue, then purple again. You will see a wizard if you walk straight up. Talk to him.

In the lost potion quest what does "halfway between the shadow and the light. rocky formations"and "glow of the shadow mean? And what do I do for the next step?

The quest cannot be completed in the current version of the game. You've gone as far as you can right now.

Ok, thanks. I realized that when I saw that I saw it said lodar's hideaway. I remember seeing that it is not on a map yet.

west of the tavern is a set of stairs on top part of map. You will have to be able to do at least 11 damage to the hardshell to get to him

I too registered purely to ask the same question. But how much further west am i meant to go? Past the area with the flagstone guard?

Also in reference to the flagstone quest, i have gained the necklace, the quest states i need to go back to the guard and all he says its up to me to go into the chamber alone, but come back if i need anything.

You have to approach the red demon first. You'll get a message stating you can't proceed. Then go talk to guard.
