No offense taken. The ring itself, at least at this point in the game, is really up to the individual player to determine whether it's important, or perhaps more accurately, beneficial enough, to their character to invest the time in acquiring one, or more. All of the details concerning this item is listed first under #3 here:

I got it ... 2000 rocks ... Lol I level from 59 to 64 ... Two weeks 1000+ potions .. 1000+ red n blue rubys ... Take a while but worth it .... Good hunting ... Need a new update now ....

I have a new build going for the RoLS… I am holding at level 3 and since I have taken no quests, nor killed any NPC’s, my only equipment is store-bought. I just loaded up on meat and am headed for the caves… It’s gonna be a tough grind!

After 3 months of grinding and 4050 small rocks l finally have 2 rols. Very ticked off!!! I assumed shadow regeneration would be doubled during battle. What a disappointment and such a waste of time. Maybe this could be corrected in the next update???

Welcome to the forum.
Personally I still find the 25% AC, 4-6 AD and 5% BC pretty helpful, but sorry you feel you wasted your time on that 2nd one. A search for keyword "shadow regeneration" could have saved you that time though.
