I just don't get why so many ppl talk so much about bread? Wouldn't biscuits be better money/health wise? Also doesn't bread heal only for one point of health per 6sec? it is much better to farm meat and use it or cook it.

The forums go back a long way. Biscuits and cooking meat did not always exist. Bread was the cheapest per HP restored. That is not true now. Hard biscuits are as good as it gets in that regard, but bread is still the go to food very early game.
