It's a giant pile of junk!!!
The stats are decent but the AP is waaaaay too high to use on a regular basis.
2 swings in a turn = Junk (unless you are the almighty Sarumar and only need one swing)

... i have this useless item .. in my collection...

Well I do admit it needs a small boost. I think and I believe I speak for everyone when I say this that it was nerfed to much during alpha testing but the original version was way to over powered. I hope by next update they give this sword a little boost

I kinda regret spending the crystals to restore it and threatening the poor blacksmith in Vileguard...
I just don't understand what all the fuss was about having to destroy this weapon... it stinks.
I'm sure Mikhail flashed me a sideways glance when i dropped that evil sword on the floor of our house.

If changes to the weapon base stats are made as suggested elsewhere to be a percentage of a character's base damage, it seems as though the Xul'viir could be given the highest % boost in the game (given current content), as it is supposedly feared world-wide and was taken off the body of a dead demi-god.
On a similar note, the armor from the Hira'zonn, the Shadowstalker, seems to have been penalized too much as well, as I can't imaging anyone choosing a 2AP penalization in order to use "fear". In line with the % of base damage above, perhaps the armor could add a substantial % damage increase (as opposed to 1-2), essentially providing a synergistic effect with the Xul'viir.

Shadowstalker: (BC: +21%, DR: +1, AC: -5%, AD: +1-2, Max HP: +3 HP, Attack Cost: +2 AP)
Xul'viir: (Attack Cost: 6 AP, AC: +32%, AD: +4-15, CHS: 3, CM: 2.0, BC: +12%)
Combined: (Attack Cost: 8, AC: +27%, AD: +5-17, CHS: 3, CM: 2.0, BC: 33%, Max HP: +3)
OMO: Dispite these 2 items coming from the same NPC i agree they really are not a good fit together.
============================================================================
Serpent's hauberk: (BC: +14%, DR: 2, AC: +12%, CHS: 8, Max HP: +8)
Xul'viir: (Attack Cost: 6 AP, AC: +32%, AD: +4-15, CHS: 3, CM: 2.0, BC: +12%)
Combined: (Attack Cost: 6, AC: +44%, AD: +4-15, CHS: 12, CM: 2.0, BC: +22%, Max HP: +8)
IMO: This is a better fit than the Shadowstalker.

Some nights when i am sleeping in my bed after a long day of looking for Andor; I will see Mikhail laying restless in his bed just staring at the Xulviir just sitting a few feet from the foot of his bed... I think i need to find a new place to store it, it seems to be making Mikhail act strangely.
