I like bone collector quest much better than being able to eat them or use them to make soup. the end result could be a dagger made out of bone? I suppose this is similary to another thread about? what was it, wyrm claw dagger? But it could rival the quick strike dagger perhaps.

Interesting idea. How would the bone collector's quest go... I guess I could play some cradle of filth to get some ideas.

Interesting ideas! I always love having more choices in the game.
Wyrm or bone dagger... both sound pretty wicked to me.

Or how about a 3rd option:
Snake Bone Dagger:
Upon hit: Has a XX% chance of inflicting Weak Poison XX (XX rounds)

Seriously Pyrizzle, snakes do not have bones
But I love where this is going. Bones will of course be an ingredient if cooking or wilderness is here.
For now, a dark quest (we need more truly dark quests, only a little temple of Kazaul is... well... not much) leading to bone club (through bone collector), which can be further enhanced to bone dagger by some bone tanner type (what would be the correct profession for something like that?). Maybe this can be connected to a cursed village, which you can release from the curse (then these evil options are no longer available, but you get something else in return) or keep cursed. As long as the village is cursed, its inhabitants are skeleton types.

And there is a evil wizard collecting the bones of dead warriors to make an army of undead. You talk to the mayor of amnityvill who tells you that there have been some strange events happening in his town. People seeing ghost in there houses. Seeing people digging up graves. People flying across town. He asks you to investigate these happening. As you talk to the people in the town you come to find out that just north of amnityvill that there is a cave that is rumored to have the remains of an old wizard who went there and was consumed by dark magic. Some believe that the wizards body was torn apart and only the skeleton remains.

Do not let the fluid motion of the slithering snake deceive you into believing that its body is boneless. Nothing could be further from the truth.
