Is he really asking for more monster info than is already shown to the player from the button in the combat interface? XP, maybe

I believe that he wants to have the NPC stats available from the map (as long as you have traveled there before), i believe sorrow would be including XP in his suggestion. ((Please correct me if i am wrong sorrow, thank you))

So everyone understand as u kill a monster u get info on how much.gold u got and.XP along with the drop item/s this info is the put in the map interface were u killed the monster sorta like the notes some have suggested for the map. Or a monster index in the map interface were once u kill it u the info is saves into the monster index. And if ur looking for a certain monster u click on it and it would take u to the map and have a highlighted area were the monster can be found. Yes for you who play Pokemon this is like the pokedex but it would have the xp I've gained on kill with gold and drop items that u have found on this said monster

Thank you for clearing that up Sorrow. I just wanted to be sure everyone understood what you were suggesting exactly.

I understood he wanted it available from the map. I thought you were objecting that the total amount of information made available in the game to the player was too much. Perhaps it was you that I misunderstood?

Wouldn't such information fit better into the character information page?
A new sheet next to character stats, quests, skills and inventory.
Let's name it "encounters". At start it is empty. When you encounter a monster the first time,
a new entry is made there, with the stats from the usual monster info screen (and perhaps its
basic XP, what it dropped and even where the encounter took place).
When you encounter the same monster another time, your kills are added up (and new drops
are entered, and even the new area, where you encountered it). So this encounters sheet would
grow with your progress. It could even show the total XP you earned from the several monster
types.

(Just thinking aloud and going off-topic...)
