I never said that we couldn't use it, i was saying that it would be much better to make up our own original idea instead. Something like Bloodiron "the metal goblins and orcs use to create their blood-red armor which strikes fear into their enemies and their lines of goblins hoot and holler while waiting for the Goblin King to give the command to charge..." (just an idea, not even a super good one i'd say)

The idea in the OP on creating an item that is more effective against a specific type of NPC is a cool idea and has been thrown around before. It would be something neat for Andor's Trail for sure.

Adamant is too close to what Wolverine's bones have been coating with in the X-man series (imho) adamantium http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... 5796,d.cGE

With all the creative people on the forums i am 1,000% sure we could come up with something really cool and original that would be only found in Andor's trail.

Ok, how about Silvanum instead of Mithril.

Yeah, something like that would be much better than using things that can be found in other games/books/etc

Silvanum is pretty good, just take two or three elements and merge the names, some of them will be decent.

Yea i was thinking the same thing. Let's see if we can do better than Silvanum. I actually like it though.

I edited my descriptions, and where Mithril was mentioned I changed it to the Andor's Trail unique, Silvanum.

i do agree that using metals that are original to Andor's trail and not found in other places (games, stories, etc) would be best. We can easily think of new exotic types of metals instead of using ones that have been found in other places.

Who is to say that it has to be metal? Why not use something that is truly unique to AT and build armor and weapons from that. For instance the Oegyth crystal armor and weapon set. Kazaulian armor/weapons, Elytharian armor/weapons. If the old gods used to be actual living breathing creatures then why couldn't their bodies be farmed for a substance that could be used to make weapons. As an example Native Americans used to make many tools and weapons from the bones of the buffalo that they killed.
