Welcome to the forums Johnreed81!

Ajusting Movement Method from the preferences effects how your character moves when running into an onject as you travel. Avoiding Obstacles makes it so your player will move around the object in the way without having to change directions (if the space above or below is open you will go there) Hope this helps.

Welcome again. -Pyrizzle

I didn't think it made a difference but I was imagining a hard-to-find passageway that might not be accessible without deliberate movement direction. Pyrizzle & Mino, thanks! This is a great game! Only a few months ago did I discover this game.

Do not finish that quest. You will get a curse on you "Kazul rotworms"-{Max AP -3, Damage Resist -1, HP-15} And after you go back to that little dude on the west area, he'll tell you that the only way to get this curse off is to haul your butt all the way to the most difficult and biggest, pain in the ass city on the entire map. LONEFORD. This is where I realized that I am completely wasting my time, Erased my saves, Uninstalled the game, and moved on with life.

Nope. This person just learned that A.T. is not the game for him/her.

I've done this quest more than a decade ago and never felt that its that difficult. You probably did not reach it but, it also will require you to get a very rare item to cure you, and thats the more difficult part. This never really felt like a pain in the ass, just a normal quest of an RPG.

Also how is Loneford the most difficult area to reach? have you seen Remgard.
