Remgard is a long and treacherous path.
Take the ladder out of the scarandon cave; Follow the spider-filled path up a mountain; Fight your way through spider cave (this is tough, depending on level); Then follow the path of trolls, brutes, etc. When you hit recognizable wildlife like wolves and panthers, you're pretty much there.
Brimhaven, as I understand it, might well be a future-developed town (ie Nor City, Feygard). :) Hope that helps.

Thank you Sarumar, now I have found it.
I just hope there is a shorter way from Izqan cave to Remgard...

Not at the moment.

Gaaah, that path is terrible. Solely because of the plaguecrawlers. (status effects & crit immunity, yay.)

I made it there at level 26. Barely. I suicided to get back to the other side of the world immediately upon reaching 27.

Now I'm grabbing bonemeal galore before making attempt 2. Also getting to at least level 30 before trying again.

Yep, it was indeed a long and difficult journey, even at level 35 (60 bone potions consumed)

Five Idols Question:
If you side with with remgard and killed algangror, you cannot do The Five Idols anymore?
Someone asked me this and i wasn't 100% sure on the answer. Thanks in advance
