Currently - I am after ROLS.
Than I thought a bit... and decided that actually the lifestealing blade will be more use for my build. And than this question comes up: I am surely ready for mass-killing the gargoyle trainers, but am I ready for those imps? Their stats are not included in bestiary...
IMO it should be provided there.
Perhaps go there by your own and provide the infos yourself. ;-)

at about what level did you guys & gals need to stop worrying about potions?
(when grinding for the RoLS)
I didn't really get to that state. I was levels 22-32 with doing some other things when I got my rings. I would need to use a potion or 2 a clear at the start and then every other clear or so towards the end.

Got the GoLF after 5 kills.
Working on RoL now.
Don't waste your time on the RoL . IMO, its not worth the effort.

IMO it's worth it. I almost never use potions. (I don't need stats anyway.)
But it's hard in BWM and the new iqhan cave with only 2 hits.

That`s the result of my build (it is DEFENSIVE - I see rather unpopluar here) but with levelling only bark-skin and regeneration in skill levels I do not need potions already (20 lvl) with gargoyle cave.

And I will definitely go for both life-stealing weapon and imp`s stats just after being fed up with ROLS seeking.

welcome to the forum, glad you're here!

its good to hear input about new & different players...
most of the characters i've built have been total offense,
but my most recent build sounds similar to to yours. (not shown)
i was shocked to see that such a defensive character could function so easily
i think most people here would call me insane for ignoring criticals all together,
but i had an idea i wanted to try, and not even half way there...
im blown away! go for the ROL, it will be the icing on the cake!
the way i see it, might just make my DEF build unstoppable!

Though a defense build may be really effective, my biggest issue with a complete defense build is that it may take longer to kill mobs, thus slowing down progress... I one shot almost everything now with AC over 300 and CC at 90, and it saves a bunch of time.

yes, but you have 60 levels on me!
you are totally right though - the battles last longer
but are less dangerous...

but truly, i play all out offense...
this DEF build was / is just an experiment.
trying to know what everything "feels" like.

i like this new build, but it will feel great to be back
SPLATTERING mobs - in my usual brutally offensive way...

Don't get me wrong, the community as a whole I believe is very grateful to you for your experiments and sharing your experiences with the rest of us to help us make decisions. I was just pointing out a disadvantage that is not readily apparent because it is somewhat extrinsic of the mechanics of the game. I am very interested to hear everything you've learned about Evasion since you last spoke of it. I'm thinking that may be something I want on my dude.

So that I don't get yelled at: for your current build, however, the RoL and RoLS together may end up saving you a lot of time you'd lose not being able to one shot stuff by reducing the amount of time you'd have to spend buying Bonemeal and using it.
